Memberships
Albury Athletics caters for athletes (born 2015 and earlier) of all levels and abilities. Events are conducted in a fun and friendly atmosphere and our club environment embraces the family unit and emphasises lifelong skills in physical activity and wellbeing.
Whilst the role of the club is to foster athletic development of all abilities within the community, we do have the facilities and coaching staff to assist athletes on their journey in reaching the highest standard possible.
Albury Athletics recommends that all members become an Athletics Victoria Base member.
ALBURY ATHLETICS WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO COMPETE WITHOUT APPROPRIATE MEMBERSHIP AND INSURANCE COVER.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS:
There are several membership options available including:
(1) AV Base Membership: (preferred option of Albury Athletics)
(a) Open (born 2006 and earlier) – $195 (AV fee) +$50 Albury Athletics club membership fee.
(b) Junior (born between 2007 and 2015) – $160 (AV fee) + $35 Albury Athletics club membership fee.
(2) LAVic/AV Dual Membership is designed to provide age-eligible athletes the opportunity to compete across the two bodies – and provides athletes with what is effectively a half price AV Junior Base Membership – $80 (AV fee) + $35 Albury Athletics club membership fee.
This membership allows you to compete at all weekly club events ($3 per week), AVSL competitions, Victorian Country Championships, Victorian State Championships and National Championships (there is an additional cost involved in entering all these events).
In short if you want to compete at Vic Countries or Vic State Championships, you will require the AV Base Membership.
Another option for not so serious athlete ,who would just like to compete at club level:
(3) Recreational Runner: $13.50 (AV fee) + Albury Athletics club membership fee $50 (Open) or $35 (Junior).
Recreational Runner membership, does not allow you to compete at Vic Countries of Vic State Championships, but can be upgraded at any time.
