Memberships
Albury Athletics caters for athletes (born 2013 and earlier) of all levels and abilities. Events are conducted in a fun and friendly atmosphere and our club environment embraces the family unit and emphasises lifelong skills in physical activity and wellbeing.
Whilst the role of the club is to foster athletic development of all abilities within the community, we do have the facilities and coaching staff to assist athletes on their journey in reaching the highest standard possible.
Albury Athletics recommends that all members become Base Athletics Victoria members, which means you are covered by Personal Accident Insurance.
ALBURY ATHLETICS WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO COMPETE WITHOUT APPROPRIATE INSURANCE COVER.
MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS:
AV Base Membership: (preferred option of Albury Athletics)
Open (born 2004 and earlier) – $185 +$50 Albury Athletics club fee.
Junior (born between 2005 and 2013) – $145 + $35 Albury Athletics club fee.
This membership allows you to compete at all weekly club events ($3 per week), AVSL competitions, Victorian Country Championships, Victorian State Championships and National Championships (there is an additional cost involved in entering all these events).
In short if you want to compete at Vic Countries or Vic State Championships, you will require the AV Base Membership.
There are two membership options for not so serious athletes ,that would just like to compete at club level: (please read carefully as there are restrictions)
1) AV Option:
Recreational Runner – $10 + Albury Athletics club fee $50 or $35
This option only covers you with Personal Accident Insurance for running events. Albury Athletics will not allow you to compete in hurdle races, steeplechase or any field event, if you choose this option.
ALL AV MEMBERSHIPS ARE TO BE COMPLETED ONLINE. AV membership is valid (1st April, 2024 through to March 31st, 2025.

2) ANSW Option:
Community Member – $15 + $65 Independent ANSW member + Albury Athletics club fee $50 or $35
This option allows you to compete at club meets, competing in all disciplines, with Personal Accident Cover.
In order to register, please contact ANSW directly (02) 9746 1122 (Owen Kelly is our contact) and mention you are a part of Albury Athletics and are looking to register as an independent community member.
From there, you will be provided with a registration portal in order to register accordingly and once this process is complete, they will be registered members. They can also login to our website to confirm this alongside a confirmation email they will receive.

Open $50
Junior $35
Family (up to 4 family members) $100
** Any AV / ANSW Membership is to be added to Albury Athletics Membership**
